By following the steps of the Design Thinking Methodology (empathise, define, ideate, prototype, and test) the goal of the final outcome was to increase the sales of a local public municipal market. In this case, the chosen public market was the Mercado de Playa Mayor, that is held on Thursdays at the Plaza Mayor in Segovia. The project, included primary and first hand research at the market by conducting surveys, safaris, and interviews, from which the key information was analysed in order to identify a particular target group to design for. After creating a final design challenge, came the process of ideation and prototyping for the look and feel of the final outcome.
